NFWF Awards $20 Million in Grants to Restore Longleaf Pine Habitat across the Southeast

The National Fish and Wildlife Foundation announced $20 million in grants to support longleaf pine ecosystem restoration across the Southeast. These funds will help expand habitat for threatened species like the gopher tortoise, improve water quality, and strengthen partnerships among landowners, agencies, and conservation groups.

To date, our dedicated partners have contributed over 23.8 million acres to longleaf restoration.
